Sports or cultural visa
Documents to be submitted with a visa application:
- A valid travel document (e.g. international passport) valid
for a minimum of 03 months after expiry of the applied visa.
- A visa
application form correctly completed, signed and accompanied
by two recent passport photographs bearing
a true likeness to the applicant.
- A letter of invitation from the Belgian institute or organization
mentioning purpose of travel and information of who is bearing
the expenses, + list of participants for groups
- A letter from the Russian institute or organization confirming
travel and who is bearing the expenses + list of participants
for groups
- Hotel confirmation or place of stay for the whole period
- Evidence of applicant's employment / income / savings / leave
(if relevant) For students : student ID card or proof of enrolment
- For minors : notarized letter of authorization from both parents
(original + copy) and copy of the child's birth certificate
- Proof of a valid travel insurance policy, either individual
or group, with a minimum cover of 30,000 Euro and valid for all
Schengen countries.
- For non-Russian citizens, a valid visa or residence permit for
the Russian Federation + registration valid 3 months after the
scheduled return " Previous passport containing Schengen visas
Important :
- The documents listed above are only the basic documents to
be submitted in all cases. Additional documents may be requested
by the Consulate and Applicants may also be invited for an interview.
- The above mentioned type 'C' visa is for valid for all Schengen
countries and is intended for a short stay up to 90 days.
