Requisite Documents

Download Requisite Document Checklist Please check the list of requisite documents before submitting your application. This will minimize the chances of your application being delayed or declined due to inadequate or incorrect submission of documents.

Visa application forms have to be filled in with one of the following languages:

Dutch/Flemish, French and English

Visa application forms filled in with Russian language have to be refused.

Minor Travellers should submit a copy of Birth Certificate.
For minors traveling alone or with persons other than their parents as well as for minors traveling with one of their parents:
- For Short Stay Visas: a parental authorization with apostil.(Original and copy)
- For Long Stay Visas: a parental authorization with apostil and the notary translation of authorization with the apostil(Original and 2 copies).

Important note with regard to machine readable visas & passports.
Machine readable visas (which are in all cases the type issued by this consulate) are never to be applied on the reverse side of a passport page already containing another machine readable visa (regardless of the country of issuance & the validity of that visa). Therefore, it is advisable that your passport contains at least one double blank page reserved for visas (blank front and back). Be informed that your visa will not be affixed if your passport doesn't comply with these new criteria, in which case you will be requested to submit a new passport.
